What is IBIX?
IBIX Insight is inspired by the Egyptian Ibis and the Alpine Ibex. Both these creatures are famed for their transformational properties.
The sacred Ibis was venerated in ancient Egypt as an avatar of Thoth, a scribe of the gods. Thoth symbolized wisdom and knowledge. The sacred Ibis was also known to keep the banks of the Nile free from the chronic water-borne disease bilharzias.
The Ibex has from Roman times, been ascribed miraculous healing powers vested in its remarkable swept back horns. It lives in some of the harshest winter conditions above the tree-line and is known for its astonishing sure footedness in tough terrain. In summer months the Ibex climbs to the most inaccessible alpine meadows where it grazes on remarkable flowers and verdant pasture in the invigorating alpine air.
Ibix Insight's mission is to combine the wisdom and knowledge of the Ibis with the discerning sure footedness of the Ibex.
